"Own Your Box" Scheme"

"Own Your Box" Scheme"
Under "Own Your Box" scheme, the investor owns boxes or 20' containers as units with Econ Container Line. The unit price for a second hand container is assumed to be 1000$ or INR 50,000/. Under "Own Your Box" scheme the company issues Bonds. Each Unit of Bond, amounts to an investment of 1000$ US or INR 50,000/. The investments are open to all, with priority given to its employees & customers. Returns are given on quaterly or six-monthly basis along with the parts of the original Capital invested. However, there is a monthly cap on the amount of investments that can be accepted. If there is over-subscription for a particular month, the first priority shall go the employees of Econ, 2nd priority shall go to its customers and associates. The investments shall be counted from the 1st of the month for all realizations prior to that date.

**In INR the investor has to pay TDS & any other taxes if applied by GOI. US$ paid outside India attracts no such tax.
The receipt & bond-issuing centres shall be Singapore, Malaysia & India offices of Econ Line. Cheques, DD, or Cash shall be accepted and receipts shall be issued. Within 10 days of realisation of funds in the Bank, confirmation of statement & PDCs (Post Dated Cheques) for the leased amounts & the Buy Back Amnt shall be issued issued to the investor.
