New Delhi continues to fumble while India burns. The superior psychological warfare machinery of Pakistan further tied down the already over stretched Indian security forces in knots. Airports and Railway stations are the new fortresses that are heavily guarded. Next will be the Metro stations. Or the shopping malls. The list is endless. This is what the enemy wants – tire and dull the edges of the security forces of India by making them run hither and thither.
This is the result of thinking at tactical level like a company commander by those who occupy the strategic domain, which necessitates a visionary generalship. Also, this remains the single important reason why intelligence and police machinery of the Union and the States collapsed. Perpetual red alerts, 24x7 for the past three decades have reduced them to dysfunctional entities with no declared objectives to achieve.
Mumbai terror attack special

The ease with which the Indian Parliament or Mumbai were attacked stands witness to the fact. Worse, our leadership's response to the threat posed was too shameful to comment upon.
New Delhi is walking in to the trap by superficially trying to guard every inch. Neither feasible nor a method recommended. The Indian leadership that inducted them in a marshy land of insurgency and terrorism for more than two decades without any clarity in political or military objectives is adding to the confusion of the security forces.
Forces that are inducted into battles always need clarity of purpose, military objectives spelled out and swiftness in conduct of operations to avoid setting in of demoralization. Otherwise battles cannot be won with likelihood of the forces landing in disarray. It appears to be now happening to the Indian security apparatus on ground. 

If just 10 trained terrorists from Karachi can hold the financial capital of India to ransom for days, what will happen if 500 pour in from different points in to the country? They could literally bring the entire nation to its knees.
To say that the threat from radical Islam was not known despite the collapse of the intelligence machinery is not true. The very fact that the prime minister and his colleagues for many years are forced to move under heavy security blanket within their own capital city with roads lined up with policemen is shameful declaration of the existing threat to the Union. Couple this fact with the increasing frequency of attacks by the Islamic terrorists that have taken place in recent times and the entire threat perception becomes crystal clear.

To tie up security forces in knots internally to deal with the externally sponsored, trained, and petro-dollar financed terrorism exported by Pakistan Army and ISI will deaden the morale and the will to fight. There is definitely an internal dimension to security, but to put the forces within on a self-destructive directionless path is exactly what the enemy wants! Either the political set up in New Delhi has not understood this raw truth in war fighting or is too scared to take the war back to the enemy territory. This war must be fought decisively in Pakistan's territory before it engulfs the Union of India in entirety.
Radical Islam's laboratory, Pakistan is in cahoots with other dictatorial regimes on our borders. China wants to tie down India to retain its top dog status in Asia. Maoist Nepal favors China. Bangladesh, another laboratory of radical Islam is in connivance with these dictatorial regimes. The subtle alliance of China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal Maoist pose a combined threat to the territorial integrity of India. Of course, overtly these regimes pretend to work in isolation of each other so as not to alarm New Delhi.
To avoid destruction of our forces by deployment in unending internal circus and before the war fatigue sets in, we need to take the war imposed by radical Islam to the enemy territory. Unless the source of supply is disabled, this war cannot be won. The core group orchestrating this drama is the Pakistan Army and the ISI. These external links are required to be put in disarray. This can only happen if the war is re-exported to Pakistan.
'We saw the globe (and India) through foreigners' eyes'
If the poisonous flow from the external links is not stopped, Indian Muslims will be radicalized, which is the primary aim of Pakistan. Similarly a backlash from the majority that is responsible for the liberal philosophy of India can wreck the democratic set up. Non-governance is not really an option available to the prime minister. 'Mumbai' and other attacks mounted by terrorists on Indian cities, could not have taken place without local support. For police or intelligence agencies to profess otherwise is untruthful.
Another falsehood perpetuated by the eternally helpless breed of Indians is that stable Pakistan is in India's interest. It is not, stable or otherwise. Pakistan is a failed state. It is on the brink of disintegration. It simply needs to be helped to remove itself and the map redrawn. Otherwise the cost to India will keep increasing disproportionately.
New terror strategy
To take this war to the enemy, New Delhi's deliberate, graded and escalating response with a clear political and military objective to help Islamabad disintegrate requires decisive steps. Snap diplomatic relations immediately. Declare Pakistan a terrorist state. Discontinue all trains and bus services as well as trade and business transactions. Announce renegotiations of the Indus Water Treaty as the terms unduly favor Pakistan. Begin process to regulate the water supplies and build new mechanisms to activate water flow controls. Cancel permissions for over flights. Seal Nepal and Bangladesh borders on priority. Open India- Nepal after the take over of Maoists in Kathmandu, do not serve any purpose except permitting mischief by ISI operatives.
Build a grand alliance of democracies by increasing their stakes in the burgeoning economic pie of India, to leverage their support against authoritarian regimes on our border including Pakistan. Increase immediately FDI in defense sector from 26 percent to 49 percent. This will help India to emerge as the most modern technology driven defense industry hub in Asia while making it profitable for western companies to invest.
Instead of fighting at cross-purposes with Asia's largest media, harness its resources to conduct unprecedented psychological warfare. In times of war, media is a weapon platform to be used intelligently to secure the national interests without attempting to hinder its freedom.
Equip the intelligence agencies with clear directives and resources to conduct deniable acts in the enemy land similar to Islamabad's terrorist acts. Thus raise the cost to the enemy and make it prohibitive for Pakistan. This will also fuel the disintegration of this tottering state. The game can be played by equal finesse by us.
To defend the taxpayer's millions of dollars invested in Afghanistan reconstruction program, move two integrated divisions with substantial air element in the area, in consultation with Kabul. Let Indian pressures build up from East and West on Pakistan so that our embassy or similar establishments are not targeted in future.  ((WOW))
A harvest of terror
The Bush administration's strategy is misguided and counter-productive in the belief that Western Forces without India's support will win in Afghanistan-Pakistan region. They cannot without New Delhi's direct involvement. The incoming Obama administration urgently needs to change this policy in Washington's interest. Similarly New Delhi should learn to fight its own war instead of expecting others do its dirty work.
Simultaneously equip and marshal the military forces on war footing, removing all deficiencies including the human resources as war at an appropriate time of our choosing remains an open option. We should stop tying up our forces internally in an endless mind-boggling game.
This will result in disintegration and ineffective security instruments available to the state. The helplessness of the under-trained and under-equipped police was on display during the attack in Mumbai. Therefore, instead of permitting our forces to disintegrate in the long term, it is sensible to take this war to Pakistan and make them pay the price.
It is high time New Delhi woke from its slumber.
 

Political Outlook Post Bombay 26/11

Taliban was primarily created and nurtured by ISI & Pak Army at the behest of American interest in Afganistan. Al-Qaida, Taliban, LeT, & such other terror groups are too much a part of Pak's Army and ISI to be severed by the rantings from India or USA. Pak is a failed state. The civilian government has no control over its territories. Army and ISI are almost parallel governments in Pakistan but running in different directions. This makes it impossible to fathom the depth of the crisis. The civilian government can be easily replaced by Army rule, if they incline too heavily towards the demands of India and the USA. Therefore, the civilian government is totally toothless to have a final say on any matter what-so-ever. This has made the position of US and Afghanistan even more precarious. The sea-route to Afghanistan is blocked by Iran. Now the sea-route via Karachi to Afghanistan may be blocked by Pak Army & ISI. Recently 200 vehicles in transit to Afghanistan were torched by ISI. Pak Army will never destroy its own creation in the frontier region. So US has little room to move. The attacks from drones on these NW Frontier areas are a testimony to this. US has used money its buy its transit to Afghanistan via Pakistan. But the table has turned. The terrorist out-fits will no longer keep quite.

 

Money has failed. Diplomacy has failed. Now we see threats. Threats may not bring the desired results. The only option left for US is forced occupation of Pakistan to carry out its crusade against the perpetrators of 9/11. But forced occupation of Pakistan is not as easy as that of Iraq or Grenada. US is far away geographically speaking. Therefore, the easiest way would be to use India to occupy Pakistan and annihilate all terrorists in Pakistan. That done, there will be not much left to be done on the soils of Afghanistan. That justifies Obama's hints at Afghanistan & Pakistan.

 

26/11 is the right opportunity to engage India into a costly and prolonged war on Pakistan : for free. There will be no America lives or wealth at stake, not even to the effect of nuclear bombing by Pakistan on India.

 

The great America depression in 1930s led to World-War II. Europe & Asia were destroyed. US unaffected by this distant war prospered to this day. Now we have an economic depression emanating from the US. India and Pakistan are far too away from US. 

Bombay Debauched

The world goes flat. Not only in terms of trade, commerce and technology, but also in terms of terrorism. Is it a new phenomenon ? Obviously no. It has happened many times in the history of mankind. If you leaf through the history, you would know the number of innocent men, women, and children slaughtered in the name of religions. Barring a few, most religions stand guilty to the horrendous debauchery of humanity : just to support or force their ideologies on others. I would say that in the name of God, a select few have perpetrated inhuman acts on mankind. The goal has not always been as pure as imposing ideologies or converting to their faith but also the designs of looting wealth, political subjugation, and at times pure sport. That's how the religions evolved, spread, and were practiced. Today is an extension of yesterday.

Today's terrorism as seen in India can be seen as a parallel of the misdeeds of Nadir Shah, Mahmoud Ghouri or Chenghis Khan. What did India do then? Does this remind you of words like - "Mumbai Spirit", "a resilient India", "Chalta Hai", and many more coinages. 

Lets not repeat the History. Lets defend ourselves from the enemy. How do we defend  ourselves : first by standing as one to the enemy, not by making us a divided lot in terms of language, religion, caste or geography. Then attacking the enemy head-on basis

 - numerical strength,

-  skill & technique

-  technology

-  psychology on enemy

-  strategy  & tact

-  fight and defend from own territory

-  once enemy is weakened then chase him and annihilate

Foolish things not to be done:

- Ranting repeatedly that we are innocent and becharas & draw self-pity

- Attack or skirmishes on Pakistan border

- Air attacks on camps

Things To Do :

- Special task-force to hunt & annihilate terrorists in India first and then outside covertly

- Allocate 50 billion $ for this task force with immediate effect

- Start a psychological war-fare on terror. Sensitize world-community.

- Use media and specially internet to make terror look pervert like: pedophilia, to bring world attention to the terrorists in Pakistan

- Propagate to make terror and Pakistan as same and anti-Islam.

- Armed with latest gazettes & guns - patrol all highly public places like airports etc. Does not cost much.

- Arm police with latest equipments

- Anti-terror short documentaries on planes, trains, buses, & crowded places.

- Use propaganda in the world to use full sanctions on Pakistan.

- Put embargo on Pakistan.

- Make a naval blockade. No ships to enter or leave Karachi.

- Extend this to air and roads.

- Join up with USA and put full military forces in Afghanistan. Task Force to be used there 100%.

- Negotiate with Iran to keep pressure on border.

- After 3 years of successfully breaking the back of terror - surprise attack and defeat Pakistan Army. With help from USA & others affected by terror, hunt each and every terror camp in Pakistan to annihilation.

- Capture the nuclear bombs simultaneously.

- Liberate the people of Pakistan and give them democracy.

Dear Prime Minister Manmohan Singh/ Atal Bihari Vajpayee /Narasimha Rao/Rajiv Gandhi,
Pakistan strongly condemns/is shocked by /is pleasantly surprised with the success of our "freedom fighters" in the loss of dozens/ hundreds/thousands/millions of innocent lives in the bomb blasts/sniper attack/hijacking /religious riots/other disaster that occurred in a busy MUMBAI marketplace/ train/housing colony /Indian parliament building/temple //Kashmir /Assam/Punjab/ Gujarat / MUMBAI\Other.

The Pakistani citizens/soldiers/"freedom fighters" / "friendship agents"/students who were caught red-handed /found dead at the scene of the crime/ convicted of the crime are actually undercover Indian/American/ Israeli agents. Any Pakistanis proven to be guilty of terrorism will be rewarded handsomely /dealt with severely/promoted to Lt. Colonel/given a new Indian passport and sent back to India /handed over to the Americans as proof of our commitment in the war on terror.

There are no Pakistani army-funded training camps /terrorist camps/ madrasaas in Azad Kashmir/Afghanistan/ Nepal /Bangladesh . The satellite images /photographs/eyewitness accounts/videotaped confessions obtained by the Indians is fraudulent/ fake/ inconclusive/are actually from Indian terrorist camps and is part of a larger RAW/ CIA conspiracy to destabilize the Pakistani government by stalling democracy /encouraging sectarian violence/undermining Pakistani institutions/ causing the next military coup in Pakistan . A destabilized Pakistani government/mafia could cause Pakistan to become a dangerous nuclear Wal-Mart/Target/Seven-Eleven and a terrorist breeding ground/university/research lab that would be worse for the world.

We hope this will not derail the peace process started with the recent India-Pakistan cricket series / Lahore bus yatra/ Muzafarabad-Srinagar road opening /Bollywood peace concert/open borders initiative/other confidence-building measures . We look forward to justifying further attacks against innocent civilians /resolving the core issue of Kashmir / developing best-of-breed plausible deniability defenses.

We stand by/are plotting against our Indian brethren in their hour/ days /years/decades of pain.
